- RECOVERY ACT - Furnish all labor, material, equipment,transportation, and supervision necessary to "Renovate Operating Room#2" Project No.R671-08-103 at the South Texas Veterans Health CareSystem, Audie L. Murphy Veterans Memorial Hospital, 7400 Merton MinterBlvd., San Antonio, TX 78229. The North American IndustrialClassification Standard (NAICS) code assigned to this constructionproject is 236220 with a small business size standard of $33.5 million.The estimated cost range for this project is between $500,000and$1,000,000. Performance and payments bonds are required within 10days after contract award. This procurement is 100% set aside to ServiceDisabled Veteran Owned Small Business contractors pursuant to 38 U.S.C.8127(d). To be eligible for award the SDVOSB mush be considered smallunder the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in thefollowing websites: www.vip.vetbiz.gov; www.ccr.gov, andwww.orca.bpn.gov. Pre-bid site inspections will be announced in thesolicitation. The solicitation will be posted on or about August 26,2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps)websitewww.fbo.gov. Interested bidders can download the solicitation,specifications and drawings from the FedBizOpps website. Amendments willnot be mailed but will also be posted at the FedBizOpps website. Biddersare reminded they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging allamendments to the solicitation prior to the time set for receipt ofproposals. Proposals are due no later than 4:30 PM local time onSeptember 23, 2009 at South Texas Veterans Health Care System, VISN 17Contracting, Department of Veterans Affairs, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd,San Antonio, TX 78229. Offerors submitting as a joint venture mustsubmit the joint venture agreement with their offer. Joint ventures arelimited to submission of three bids in a two year period.
