- NASA/ARC has a requirement to purchase a Kulite Pressure Transducers to be used fora wind tunnel testing.The pressure transducers will be mounted to the exterior of themodel, and will be integrated into the 6% model and be subject to high temperature duringtest operations. The contractor shall provide 55 LLHT-11-072-50SG Kulite Pressure Transducers.Requirements for the Kulite Pressure Transducers:Operating Temperature: -65F to +525FCompensated Temperature: +80F to +450FCable: 36 inches to shielded Teflon cableConnector: Customer supplied Omnetics A12406 connector with epoxy potted. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to Rachel Jandron at Rachel.A.Jandron@nasa.gov not later than noonlocal time on 09/09/2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely forthe purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitivebasis.A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a fulland open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within thediscretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
