- (Sol# 401819Q786) This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This work entails herbicide application to reduce and control Lespedeza bicolor on 530 acres of forested area. Contractor shall furnish or obtain all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, permits and supplies and perform all work necessary for the delivery/performance of this requirement. The Job is located at the Noxubee NWR, Brooksville, Mississippi 39739 (http://www.fws.gov/noxubee/noxnews.htm). Delivery location phone number is (662) 323-5548. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. A firm fixed price commercial order will be issued. The Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotations and Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at web site http://www.ccr.gov. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-888-227-2423. Prior to registering each company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number. You may obtain this number free of charge at 1(866)705-5711. Once you are registered you will be able to view solicitations on line at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov (the Department of Interior site).
