- Solicitation The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest intends to award a contract for the furnishing, and delivery of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) culverts. The solicitation number is AG-05M6-S-09-0091. The procurement is considered to be a Commercial Item and is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System code is 326122 with a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. Upon delivery of the culvert and signed certification payment can be made for the purchase either by Government credit card or by Purchase Order. The final quantity of culverts purchased may vary slightly based on prices quoted and dollars available. As a Federal Agency we do not pay State of local sales tax. This is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. MATERIAL PROPERTIES: Culver shall be high density polyethylene. JOINT REQUIREMENTS: Culverts will be joined using Split Coupler and hardware. Pricing need to include cost of split coupler and required hardware. A total of (74) 20 feet long 24” Double Wall HDPE Plain End, and (8) 20 feet long 36” Double Wall HDPE Plain End culverts will be ordered. The required delivery date for pipe is September 14, 2009. Pipe sections are to be delivered and banded together to the Skykomish Maintenance Compound located at 74920 N.E. Stevens Pass Highway, Skykomish WA 98288. The contractor is responsible for the delivery of the pipe. Government will be responsible for the offloading.
