- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for Paving Repair at the BT Collins AFRC located in Sacramento, CA. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to provide pavement resurfacing through the means of a surface treatment slurry seal to the existing paved areas. Various areas will require pothole patching or crack sealing prior to the new slurry seal being applied. Concrete is required to be placed to control runoff of water at drop inlet and installation of reinforced concrete footings at the same level of the finished grade for the portable vehicle lift to sit on. All operations necessary to accomplish the work will be done in accordance with the project Scope of Work, Drawings, Solicitation, Amendments and Resulting Contract. Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0065 will be available on or about 28 August 2009. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for Friday 4 September 2009 at 10:00am (PST). Site Visit location is: 8401 Okinawa Street, Building 652, Sacramento, CA 95828. The primary Site Visit POC is Steve Gueck, 916-233-6865; donald.s.gueck@usar.army.mil. Alternate Site Visit POC: Kent Jackson 562-795-2098 or cell 562-235-9967. Only contractors that sign in during the mandatory site visit will be considered for this acquisition. Proposals are due Friday, 11 September 2009 at 4:30 pm (PST). This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for 8(a) business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238990 with a size standard of $14.0M. Performance period is 150 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Payment and performance bonds are required for this project and must be submitted within fifteen days after contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0065 will be available on or about 28 August 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/).
