- Dyess AFB, TX intends to make a single award for a library book lease in accordance with the solicitation and its clauses. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on technically acceptable and price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424920 and a size standard of 100 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 26 August 2009 on www.FBO.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website posting frequently for any updates or amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal must have Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx. You must register on CCR in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dunn & Bradstreet. Registering may take up to two (2) weeks to process. You may email or fax your quote. The administering contracting office is located at the 7th Contracting Squadron, 381 3rd St., Dyess AFB, TX 79607.
