- SPEARS SOUTH BID PACKAGE SPEARS SOUTH ATTACHMENTS SPEARS SOUTH CONTRACT SF 1449 RECOVERY - The Ochoco National Forest, Prineville Oregon has a need for precommercial thinning, handpiling and lopping of 213 acres at the Spears South location. Delivery of services will be performed at the site per the attached maps, Crook County, Oregon. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with Simplified Acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a commercial item request for quote. In responding to this request refer to solicitation number AG-0489-S-09-0017. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33. This solicitation is being issued as a total HUBZONE small business set aside. The associated NAICS code for this project is 115310 with a size standard of $17.5 Million. The intent of this solicitation is to obtain a firm fixed price single source contract. This combined solicitation and synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial item/services 1. 0001 – PRECOMMERCIAL THINNING AND LOPPING – 68 ACRES 2. 0002 – PRECOMMERCIAL THINNING AND HAND PILING – 145 ACRES Detailed description of requirements is included in the attached statement of work, exhibits, maps and unit data sheets. For detailed instructions please comply with the following; FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Item applies, attached. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation – Commercial Items applies with the attached addenda.
