Description
Please notify me of your interest and experience. 1.1. Specific Tasks Provide support for workloads on Hill Air Force Base, to include but not limited to depot level maintenance for the Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) including but not limited to modification, maintenance, inspection, and repair of ICBM flight controls, support equipment, and related components, cables, and demilitarization. 1.2. Personnel Requirements Provide personnel with knowledge and skills identified below in the quantity listed in the attached Estimated Team Complement (Attachment 1) Note: Manpower is based on workload hours which could flex up or down. 1.2.1. Electronics Technician Maintenance II, SCA 23182 The Electronics Technician Maintenance II applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools and testing instruments. Technicians must overhaul, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, modify and final test the MK12A. The technicians will be required to replace the MK12A Re-entry Vehicle forward section Arming and Fusing Assembly (AFA) silver zinc batteries, replace the Radar Power Supply (RPS) thermal grease and replace or refurbish the pressure actuated valve (PAV) along with all associated environmental and system integrity functional tests. Technician will be reviewed to assure work is performed and is in compliance with technical orders, specifications, Air Force Publications and other technical data. Technician must be certified to perform tasks without technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. 1.2.2. Technicians must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
