- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference solicitation number W911RZ-09-T-0371. Fort Carson intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the rental of tents and equipment to include set up and tear down. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 532292 with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. This requirement is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The period of performance is 14 25 September 2009. The Contractor shall propose the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN 0001 Fest Tent Rental Qty. 6 Tents shall be a minimum of 40 feet by 60 feet and approximately 20 feet high. The tents shall include walls and front and end attachments. The tents shall be waterproof and withstands winds up to 60 mph. The contractor shall set up and take down all tents and equipment. The contractor shall make all electrical connections necessary. Tents shall be set up no later than 4:00 pm 14 September 2009 and removed beginning at 10:00 am on 25 September 2009. CLIN 000280KW Generator Qty 2 - One generator is required to run the lights for five of the tents that will be co-located. The other generator is required to run the lights at one tent that is not located in the same vicinity of the other five tents. CLIN 0003Halogen Lighting Package Qty 6 Each tent shall be equipped with a halogen light package that illuminates the entire interior of the tent. CLIN 00048 Rectangle Banquet Tables Qty 6 All tables shall be placed in one tent, which will be designated as the dining facility. CLIN 0005Folding Chairs Qty 60 All chairs shall be placed in the dining facility tent. To be eligible for an award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
