- NAICS Code: 514199 The US EPA Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA), under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Rules (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to UBM Global Trade, Inc. (PIERS) for PIERS RenewableFuel Export Data, for (2) users, for (16) months of data from 9/01/07 to 12/31/08. The justification is as follows. The Renewable Fuel Standard is a credit trading program that tracks the movement and use of renewable fuel in the United States. EPA wants to purchase data on renewable fuel exports. PIERS is the only vendor who tracks individual exports and offer this information commercially. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement may submit a response, which if received within two days of the closing date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this announcement must be in writing to the contracting officer at daniels.ryan@epa.gov.
