- The Batavia, NY VAMC located at 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020 intends to award a sole source contract to Simplex Grinnell, LLC in the amount of $157,850.00 to upgrade the existing fire alarm system (also made by Simplex Grinnell). The upgrade includes replacement of 4002 series fire alarm control panels in buildings #2 & #3 to 4100 series FACP. The current deteriorated wiring and conduit will also be replaced with fiber optic cabling. No other source is known to be able to do these upgrades.
