- RECOVERY--The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking firms to perform work consisting of Closure Structure Rehabilitation, Floodwall Repair, Toe Drain Replacement, and Establishment of Turf. The Contractor shall provide the above in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications in the solicitation/contract. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be Best Value utilizing Technically Acceptable, Lowest Price. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237990. The SBA size standard is 33.5 Million. The contract duration will be 365 Calendar Days. This acquisition is issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The Solicitation will be available on or about September 15, 2009. Contractors may view and /or download the solicitation with all amendments from the Internet at the following address: www.mvs.usace.army.mil. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/offeror preparation costs. NOTE: ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
