- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation (AASHTO). AASHTO will be developing and providing the Guide for the Development of Bicycle Facilities. The guides provide the foundation for the FHWA training with AASHTO which is an integral part of the highway safety training course. This guidebook is an essential component of the Bicycle Facilities Design course and provides the foundation for this FHWA training. AASHTO is the only source to develop and distribute the Guide for the Development of Bicycle Facilities. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is September 4, 2009.
