- This Invitation for Bid is for an AML Emergency Reclamation project sponsored by the Department of the Interior's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation & Enforcement Appalachia Team in Ashland, KY. Proposed reclamation involves the placement of a reinforced gabion wall. In addition, surface and subsurface drains will be placed and the restoration of all disturbed areas. A pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at 11:00 AM. ATTENDANCE AT THE PREBID IS MANDATORY. Prospective bidders are to meet at the McCarr Post Office parking lot located near the intersection of Route 319 south and Highway 1056. Sealed bids are due to OSM by 3:00 p.m. on September 2, 2009.
