- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) FA4877-09-Q-0609 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36, Defense Circular 20090729 and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2009-0803. (iv) This procurement is being issued as full and open competition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 337214. (v) The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, transportation, supervision, materials, equipment, and management to provide the following: Removal of existing furniture and transportation to DRMO. New furniture to include: 27 - Task chairs 13 - Guest Chairs 3 - U Shaped desk units with upper storage, w/36" deep work surface 6 - L shaped desk units, 2 with upper storage cabinets, w/36" deep work surface 5 - Two person couches 2 - 4 Shelf Bookcases, 36" 3 - 5 Shelf Bookcases, 36" 1 - Round table, 36" 1 - Coffee table, 48" 1 - 4 drawer file cabinet, 36" 1 - 2 Drawer file cabinet, 36" 1 - 2 Door 2 Shelf units, 36" W 36"H All furniture quoted shall be as a majority, quoted from a GSA schedule. Clarifications to be discussed at site visit. The provision at 52.212-1--Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2--Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on the lowest price technically acceptable, and the quote that will yield the best value to the Government. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at, 52.204-8-- Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer.
