Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation--FA4877-09-Q-0529-- is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through: Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36 Defense Circular Number 20090729 Air Force Acquisition Circular 2009-0803 This procurement is being issued as a Total Small Business set aside under: NAICS code 333924 1. Boat Trailer (3EA): Carpeted bow stop, 1500# Big wheel jack, 1500# Winch with strap. REQUIREMENTS. Trailer should be constructed of galvanized steel capable of transporting, launching, and recovery of Zodiac boat (model MKV HD) Boat specifications as follows: Overall length - 19'2", overall width - 8'2", Empty weight - 551 lbs. Additionally, trailer shall be equipped/ constructed with the following: Disc Brakes with Stainless Steel calipers and pistons; Galvanized Torsion Axles with removable zinc plated torsion arms; Oil Hubs; Thermo Plastic Brake Lines with brass fittings; LED lighting; Stainless Steel Fasteners; Radial tires with galvanized spoke wheels; Spare tire and Carrier; Heavy-duty marine grade tongue jack and winch; Non-marking polyurethane bow roller and keel pads; Bunks thru-bolted to risers using stainless steel hardware; Special trailer reverse axle 9" Board 2 x 10 with 5 ft guide boards; Fully carpeted bunk boards with 20 oz marine carpet; Heat shrunk sealed wire connections; Heavy-duty 2"x3"x1/3" wall axles; wire loom and brake line guides (welded into frame). 2. Inflatable bunk option (3EA) 3. Spare and Carrier (3EA) 4. Backup lights (3EA) Shipping (included in cost) will be: FOB Destination to 5020 E. Arizola St. Bldg 1631 Tucson AZ 85707.
