- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M6740009T0312 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-34 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The NAICS code is 811213. The Government intends to issue a purchasing order to the responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government considering price, technical capability, and proposed period of performance. The requirement for services are included in the attachment. Services shall be started on 30 September 2009 at Bldg 1A, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED ON 31AUGUST 2009, 10:30 A.M. AT BLDG.1, CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, JAPAN. Offerors desiring to attend the site visit must contact Isoko Tomimoto via email to isoko.tomimoto.ja@usmc.mil no later than 3:30 P.M., 28 August. If offerors need an escort to get into base, please come to Gate 6 (Region Gate), Camp Foster on 10:10 A.M.,31 August 2009. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN, OKINAWA PREFECTURE. AWARDS CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED TO OPERATE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
