- The U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC)/NOAA intends to solicit for purchase of 25 each, Blower, Modified, IAW Westinghouse P/N 3D59767G01, National Weather Service (NWS)/Radar Operations Center (ROC) P/N 2500016-301. These items are being purchased for the NWS to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. These parts are in support of the NWS/NEXRAD radar program. The supplies are to be shipped on an FOB Destination basis. A first article will be required for this item. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. Any small business sources are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 days after its publication. Interested firms should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide a product that is the same or equivalent to the specified drawing. Also include the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other Government agency to which it has previously provided this item. Failure to provide the required information may deem your request non-responsive. The Government reserves the right to solicit quotes based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice. The NAICS code for this action is 335999. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the Agency. All contractors doing business with the Eastern Region Acquisition Division-Kansas City (ERAD-KC) must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) or certification with the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
