- The Government intends to place a firm-fixed price order with Shotspotter, Inc., 1060 Terra Bella Avenue, Mountain View, CA 94043. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has a requirement to relocated the Shotspotter from it's current location to another. This move requires the following: de-installation and shipping; site survey; consuables; sensor installation and electrical, IT/Server-workstation re-configuration and calibration. The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) Only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing, brand name or industrial mobilization). The basis for restricting competition is that Shotspotter, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Shotspotter and as such is the only source authorized to move the Shotspotter. The NAICS code for this procurement is 517919 and the small business size standard is 25.0M. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition and awarded on an unrestricted basis. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued however any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate it possesses authorization from Shotspotter, Inc., to meet the above listed requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however a determination by the Government not to competethe proposed procurement based upon responses is solely at the discretion of the Government. If no respones are received, the Government will proceed with this sole source negotiation with Shotspotter, Inc.
