Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Ted C. Theodore in Afghanisan for three mineral resource crews that will operate and be embeded with the military within Afghanistan which will result in a report and proposal for futuer work to be done by the USGS to be delivered to 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA 20192 by October 30, 2009. There will be an addition three months of work extending through January 15, 2010 Ted G. Theodore is the only known source for this requirement because he he has expericence working for over 35 years in the U.S. Geological Survey's Mineral Program, and recently conducted consulting field work in the former Soviet region and is familiar with data types and reports similar to those found in Afghanistan. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: csummers@usgs.gov.
