- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit a written quote (email acceptable) on RFQ reference number W912LA-09-Q-9004. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. (iv) This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside; the associated NAICS code is 423320 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. (v) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following Decomposed Granite. (vi) Commercial Description: The California Air National Guard - Channel Islands Air National Guard Station is soliciting to contract for Item 0001: Purchase 439 cubic yards (855 tons, assuming that the material weight is 1.5 tons per cubic yard) of decomposed granite, with hardening stabilizer. (vii) Assume that scheduling of material deliveries will be phased over the next 45-50 days, with deliveries complete by 30 SEP 09. Consumer will require and utilize 5-7 truckloads per day, with deliveries each working day (M-F). Material deliveries shall be on call, with the consumer calling 3 days prior (minimum) to place an order with the vendor. Deliveries will be to Channel Islands Air National Guard Station located in Ventura County location, near Pt. Mugu Naval Air Station. (viii) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Jun 2008), applies to this acquisition. (ix) The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote represents the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. (x) FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Jun 2008) is required for this action. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (j) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) through (i) of this provision. (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, applies to this acquisition; as well as the following addenda: N/A, no addenda to subject clause.
