Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 06. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Intramural Research Program for which the agency is seeking quotes from all interested vendors to provide the commercial items below. Spot Illumination system for photolysis of caged molecules, consisting of DPSL-355/30-AOM diode pumped solid state laser, complete turn-key system wave length 355nm, mas. Output power 30nW Repetition rate 10KHz (i.e. 3uJ/pulse) UV acousto optic modulator for power adjustment TTL trigger Fibre optic coupling including QLG-100 quartz light guide with core diameter 100um, QLG-400 quartz light guide with core diameter 400um, OSI-BX51 module for spot illumination with fibre optic coupling to be attached to the fluorescence attachment of an Olympus BX51 microscope Dichroic mirror DCLP 420, reflecting light below 420 nm and transmitting light above 420 nm from your fluorescence lamp Spot fixed in the center of the field of view, size dependent on diameter of light guide and objective used Installation, introduction into the system in Baltimore, Maryland (2 days)Please reference the combined synopsis/solicitation number NIHDA2009139 on all related correspondence. No collect calls will be accepted. This request is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this announcement. RESPONDENTS MUST SUBMIT INFORMATION VIA E-MAIL to Carol Lindsay at clindsay@intra.nida.nih.gov no later than September 8, 2009, 5:00 PM Eastern Time for consideration.
