- Description
- The 56th Contracting Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, AZ intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for acquisition of automatic door maintenance and repair at Luke AFB, AZ. The principal work is to provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, transportation, specifications/repair manuals, other items and services necessary to perform scheduled preventative maintenance or unscheduled service calls, and provide repair parts for automatic entrance/exit doorsat Luke AFB, AZ. The magnitude of this project, expressed in dollars, is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 811310. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price service contract will be awarded. The Government intends to issue a single solicitation and make a single award to one offeror. The solicitation will be issued on or about 8 September 2009 with a 14 day proposal period. This acquisition will be a competitive acquisition and will be set-aside 100% for small business and the applicable size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is $7.0 Million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation and all subsequent notices and amendments will be posted on the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
