- The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Kimball International Marketing, Inc. Kimball will provide furniture for the offices and workstations for USSS headquarters building that maintains the many special requirements and products required which are unique to the USSS, while maintaining consistency of the product line, standardization of the workstation/office typicals and quality and finish selection to integrate into a building and floor that already has Kimball furniture on and in it. This solution will allow the USSS to re-use existing furniture which keeps costs at a minimum and maintains an established building standard. There is no solicitation regarding this sole-source synopsis. Only written responses received by August 31, 2009 will be accepted. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice.
