Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is unfunded. This requirement is set aside for a small business. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 423210, Size Standard 100 employees. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2KTAV9182A002 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36 effective 11 Aug 2009. If funds become available, the Government intends to award five contract line item numbers (CLINs) as follows: CLIN 0001: Table Top Dining Room Model 44121-773-01/Table Base Model 44121-773-02 (Qty-1) (brand name or equal to) CLIN 0002: Side Chair Dining Room / Main Fabric: 5486:94 Dining Room Fabric - Model 44121-831-01/44121-831-02/44121-831-03 (Qty- 10) (brand name or equal to) CLIN 0003: Arm Chair Main Fabric: 5486-94 Dining Room Fabric - Model 44121-832-01/44121-832-02/44121-832-03 (Qty- 2) (brand name or equal to) CLIN 0004: China Base Model 44121-420-01/44121-420-02 (Qty- 1) (brand name or equal to) CLIN 0005: Buffet Dining Room Model 44121-230-01 (Qty- 1) (brand name or equal to) Additional information: We are seeking an executive dining set. The furniture must be solid wood; preferably a darker wood such as cherry/medium to dark oak. The preferred shape of the tabletop is oval with the following specifications: length - minimum 138"; must seat at least 10. The chairs specifications are as follows: cushioned seat and back - decorative fabric or leather upholstery or a combination of both; required 2 armchairs and 8 without arms. In addition, a matching buffet and china cabinet are required for storage of china, crystal, silver and decorative items. All pieces must match. The following items are items that meet the needs of this requirement. They do not reflect the exact items because we are soliciting for brand name or equal to furniture. The referenced model numbers are intended to give a clearer understanding of the exact specifications of the requirement: Thomasville Lumine Table Top Model 44121-773, Thomasville Lumine Side Chair Model 44121-831, Thomasville Lumine Arm Chair Model 44121-832, Thomasville Lumine China Base Model 44121-420, Thomasville Lumine Buffet Model 44121-230, and Fabric 5486-94. THIS IS AN UNFUNDED REQUIREMENT : "This requirement is unfunded. No obligation may be incurred until funds are available and certified by Accounting and Finance." Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
