- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Western Region, Presidio of Monterey intends to award three (3) Construction Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for the Central California Region from this solicitation. The MATOCs will be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, with no pre-established fixed contract prices, for a base period of one year and a one-year option period. These contracts will be set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS Code is 238990, and the small business size standard for this NAICS Code is $14.0 M. The maximum aggregate amount of the MATOC program, inclusive of all awarded MATOC contracts, including options, shall not exceed $5.5 Million. The Central California Region includes but is not limited to the following counties/cities: Monterey CountyPOM, OMC, Marina, Fort Hunter Liggett San Luis ObispoCamp Roberts Solicitation W9124N-09-R-0063 will be available on or about Wednesday, 26 August 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/). No paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished. A Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on 31 August 2009, commencing at 0900 hours PST, to discuss the solicitation purpose and requirements. The pre-proposal meeting will be held at DoD Center Monterey Bay, 400 Gigling Road, Seaside, CA 93955. Proposals are due Tuesday, 8 September 2009 at 4:30 pm (PST). Project Description: This Construction MATOC will be new general construction and construction related requirements/projects such as, but not limited to maintenance, repairs, HVAC, electrical, renovations, alterations; asbestos and lead abatement, and demolition. Construction projects will be executed through the issuance of future task orders under the terms of this contract and competed among the selected pool of MATOC awardees. Task orders will vary in size ranging from $2,000.00 to approximately $800,000. Most task orders are anticipated to fall in the range of $25,000.00 to $250,000.00. Performance and payment bonds or alternate payment protection will be required on a task order basis. Offerors: Prior to a contractor receiving an award as a result of this solicitation, you must be registered and have an active, valid registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov/. Offerors must also complete the On-line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Representations and certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to ORCA.
