- The United States Geological Survey (USGS) in Reston, VA has a requirement for Citations E-journal EIS Policy File support for the National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII), in the Biological Informatics Office (BIO) and the Center for Biological Informatics (CBI). This RFQ constitutes the only solicitation. The posted RFQ contains a description of the service, quantity, delivery, and applicable clauses. The Government anticipates awarding a single contract with a base period of 12 months and two, one-year option periods. RFP 09HQQQ0061 will only be available electronically at http://www.fedbizops.gov on or about August 21, 2009. The Government intends to acquire these services using the procedures in FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation. The NAICS code is 511120. All responsible offerors that are currently in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
