- This contract action was not awarded as a fixed price type because uncertainties involved in contract performance did not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixed price contract. As such, a cost-reimbursement type action was awarded (FAR 16.301-2). This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is an order under an existing contract that was awarded using non-competitive procedures. This project is awarded for the installation and modernization of the exterior lightings at the 600 and 800 series barracks buildings. The Government issued a task order to the prime contractor under the pre-existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Base Operation Services (BASOPS) Contract. The prime contractor is the Presidio Municipal Services Agency (PMSA).
