Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-34 dated 1 July 2009 and DFARS change notice 20090155. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), reference number FA3047-09-T-1000 Submission of written quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. Verbal offers will not be accepted. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest evaluated priced responsible offeror. Offerors must include CAGE code, DUNS, Tax Identification Number, FOB point, discount terms, and shipping cost, in their quote. The quote requires delivery to 37 TRW/HC, Lackland AFB, TX 78236, and must be valid for 60 days. This is a 100 percent small business set aside. The NAICS code is 811490 with a size standard of $7,000,000.00. The description for this requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 Repair and complete cleaning of pipe organ which involve removal of the pipes and rack boards. Every pipe and surface will be cleaned and reassembled. Tonal regulation of the individual pipes will be done once clean, then fine tune of the instrument. Mechanical problems and key adjustments will be completed as part of the cleaning process along with the addition of a service walk board behind the largest pipes as to have a way to service and tune them, Quantity 1.
