- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) plans to procure Breeder Tank Rack (3rd Generation); Breeder Rack Tray and 2L Clear Breeder Tank with Divide Lid to perform daily fish husbandry. The dimensions of the tanks shall be met due to the design of the aquaria holding system and storage racks. Breeding Take: 8-5/16 inches L x 4-1/2 inches W x 4-3/4 inches H Breeding Tank Insert: 8-5/8 inches L x 4-2/16 inches W x 3-7/8 inches H (The gap between the tank and the insert is 1 inch) Breeding Rack: 33 inches L x 68.5 inches H x 18.875 inches W (8 shelves, 9 inches apart from each other) The tanks shall meet the following criteria: 1) efficient use of space; 2) prohibit adults from consuming eggs; 3) sufficient swimming volume for fish; 4) manageable size/weight when full of water. Interested vendors capable of providing the Government with the service specified above should submit their quotation to the below address. It is anticipated that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) NICHD 09-143 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. Request for copies of the RFQ must be in writing to the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), 6100 Executive Blvd., Room 5Z00, Rockville, MD 20852 Attention: Patricia Haun.
