- Description
- The United State Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety and Inspection Services (FSIS)/Center for Learning (CFL) intends to award a non-competitive, contract to Scantron Corporation in accordance with 41 USC 253 (c) (1), other than full and open competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the governments requirements”. Scantron Corporation is the only firm capable of meeting USDA-FSIS’s requirement to modify, enhance and expand the Pre and Post Test data collection and analysis process through upgrading the existing Scantron OMR iNSIGHT scanner. This contract will include 1-years worth of on-site maintenance, as well as, integrating with our computer application systems. FOB Destination - Washington, DC. A Firm-Fixed Price contract will be award for a performance period of two months. Interested firms or persons may however, identify their interest and capability to the above stated Contracting Officer. All such proposals for consideration must be received by the Government by 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on August 19. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this Notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received from interested firms responding to this notice must be sufficient in detail to afford evaluation without added submission as the information submitted will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
