- This synopsis is for informational purpose only. The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division (NAVAIR-AD) Patuxent River, MD intends to issue an Extension of Period of Performance, a Time and Material contract to SoBran Incorporation, located at 4401 Dayton-Xenia Road, Dayton, OH. This requirement title is “Production Support Services associated with Naval Air Depot Jacksonville, FL (NADEP JAX)”. This modification will extend the period of Performance from 01 October 2009 through 30 September 2010. The services under this procurement will be for production support for AIR-6.3 to include transporting components, managing warehouse operations, operating cross services receipts, processing TF-34/F404 inductions, processing Depot level repairable inductions, maintaining tool boxes and performing inventories, managing store rooms, and performing production control services, kitting services for the F/A-18, P-3, EA-6B, and H-60 aircraft, supply technician services, and stock clerk functions at the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Jacksonville, FL. The current contract must be extended for a period of 12 months in accordance with FAR 52.217-9. This requirement of contract extension will allow a full and open competition follow –on effort for production support without interruptions of services. SoBran is the only known responsible source qualified to satisfy the program requirement. This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals: however, interest parties may identify their interest and technical capability by contacting the contract specialist. The North American industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561210 and the Production Service Code (PSC) is J016. The closing date for this synopsis is 31 August 2009. The Government reserves the right to process this procurement source based on the response received. NOTE: DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt “Required Central Registration" applies to all solicitations.
