Description
The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a Sole Source requirement to the National Patient Safety Foundation, 268 Summer Street, Sixth Floor, Boston, MA 02210. The procurement is to obtain 202 memberships for In-Patient Hospitals, Ambulatory Clinics, Dental Clinics, and Regional Commands and Headquarters elements within an existing nationally patient safety organizations program to facilitate collaborative efforts in improving patient safety between leading corporations, federal agencies, renowned medical facilities, and experts within the healthcare industry. This procurement is being issued in accordance with FAR 6.302; Only one responsible and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This Synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within fifteen (15) days after publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Point of Contact for this action is Darrell Beaver.
