- The Dept of Justice, Justice Management Division, Library Staff, intends to procure on a sole source basis, the Moody's Mergent online back file collection. This database will provide directories of public companies back to the 1900's, including merger and acquisitions data and chronlogies of events. The information will be used by librarians, attorneys and other researchers in the Department in the scope of their work. This procurement is being done in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. Services under this synopsis must comply with the following Section 508 Accessibility Standards: 1194.22 Web-based Intranet and Internet Information and Applications, 1194.31 Functional performance criteria, and 1194.41 Information, documentation, and support (see http://www.section508.gov). This contractor has been found to be the only known source to provide this type of database. However, written quotes may be submitted in writing stating ability to provide a similar a database. These quotes should be faxed to (202-514-2785) or emailed to daire.r.mccabe@usdoj.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Quotations are due on July 9, 2009, by 5:00 P.M. EST. Oral quotations will not be accepted.
