- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912P907D05180014. Task Order No. 0014 shall provide the St. Louis District Army Corps of Engineers (CEMVS) requires a high-resolution digital elevation model developed from LIDAR data for approximately three hundred (300) square mile over an area along the Big Muddy River from the Rend Lake Dam in Southern Illinois to the confluence with the Mississippi River, approximately sixty-five (65) miles in length. The areas shall include an approximate two hundred foot (200) buffer area beyond the project boundary. The project boundary is the inundation area shown as a result of dam failure downstream of Rend Lake Dam. The data is to be acquired during the fall/winter 2010. The project area will consist of high accuracy classified bare-earth LiDAR data in ASCII and LAS format, Orthophotos, as well as a combination of raster digital elevation models and vector hydro-enforced breaklines per project requirements. This is a task order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved, as this is a follow-on order to a competitive initial order in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b)(2).
