- SOW SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: F2XTA2916AQ01 DELL SERVER MAINTENANCE THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ANNOUNCEMENT; A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The purpose of this market research (Source Sought Synopsis) is to determine if there are sources that can supply an existing requirement. The Government is seeking, qualified, experienced sources with information to provide service and support for the following equipment: 0001/2-Dell/ EMC CX300 and 0003/4 Power Edge 6850. Service and support will incorporate all labor, materials, hardware replacement and system upgrades/revisions, phone/web support, transportation, and replacement parts for service calls. The equipment will be located at Air Force Historical Research Agency, 600 Chennault Circle, Building 1405, Maxwell AFB, AL for the period 1 Oct 09 through 30 Sep 10. Please see the attached Statement of Work for further details. Therefore, the Government is requesting that interested concerns furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address(s). (2) Type of business, i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HubZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc. (3) North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code E-mail responses to this request for information are preferred, and should be sent to: tamika.jackson@maxwell.af.mil. All questions must be submitted in writing and forwarded to the aforementioned point of contact.
