- Pre-Solicitation Notice Construction Services for Project # R561A4-01-130-02. Description:This notice is for project, "Recovery Act - Renovate Research," at theVA Medical Center, Lyons Campus, 151 Knollcroft Rd. Lyons, N.J. 07939 This shall be a Service Disabled Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). Asa result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered bythe agency. The project falls under NAICS Code 238210, and has a SmallBusiness Standard of $14.0 Million. The estimated price range forthis project is $1,000,000 to $2,000,000, respectively. The work for this requirement consists of, but is not limited to:Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment asper drawings and specifications at the VA Medical Center, Lyons Campus,151 Knollcroft Rd. Lyons, N.J. 07939 This includes, furnish and install a security access system at the LyonsCampus of the VANJHCS in accordance with the plans and specifications.Work will include, as out lined in the drawings and specifications, theprovision of security access detection; video surveillance; accesscontrol database and management system; and electronic personaldetection system to provide a fully functional security system. Otherdetails/information is in the solicitation which shall be posted onwww.fedbizopps.gov The anticipated release date of the IFB is Sept. 1,2009 and the anticipated closing date is October 1, 2009. The bidsubmittal address and time is included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and bid submissions shall be in hardcopiesand not e-mailed or faxed. All bidders shall be registered and verifiedin the www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov and www.orca.bpn.govCompletion time is (from notice to proceed) 365 calendar days for basebid, 350 calendar days for bid alternate # 1; 335 calendar days for bidalternate # 2; 320 calendar days for bid alternate # 3; 305 calendardays for bid alternate # 4; 290 calendar days for bid alternate # 5; 275calendar days for bid alternate # 6 Award is subject to availability of funding.
