Description

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with IQ Solutions, Inc. to add Intramural NIAID Research Opportunities Program to the existing contract entitled, “International Research Training and Support Program.” The current services provide for the management, oversight, and logistical support of the NIDA’s International Research and Training Support Program. The additional services continue to be within the scope of the contract. Statutory authority to justify this procurement is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as set forth in the FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. Inherent duplication of cost to the Government and unacceptable delays in providing the required services make competition unfeasible.
