Description
CONTACT Andrea Battaglia, Technical Writer, (732)532-4637 DESC The GUADRAIL weapon system team requests support of all WJ receivers that are part of the GUARDRAIL weapon systems. Support will include acquisition of spare parts, repair of failed units, technical support, and field service support. The contractor will be required to provide solutions to obsolescence issues to enable sustainment of this equipment. The contractor will also be responsible to maintain the relevance of the equipment to combat vanishing vendor issues. The contractor will be asked to maintain an inventory of spares to meet a turn around time of 48 hours for any failures of the equipment. The equipment includes but is not limited to: SI-8656, SI-8726, WJ8604-1, WJ 9104A-1, WJ8654-A-1, WJ 8700, WJ 9547, WJ 9548-2, WJ 9912, WJ 9912/intf and all associated equipment to these items. The USG does not hold right drawing beyond a top level and the OEM holds proprietary rights to data on these items. All interested parties considering submission in support of this request for technical support should submit a white paper no greater than 10 pages in length and should include at a minimum the following information: 1) Provide evidence of the contractors facilities and experience with type of testing. 2) Provide evidence of past performance on similar projects in support of the requested work. 3) Respondents may offer white papers on a total support approach or on any subset of this support requirement. This documentation may be mailed to US Army, Commander CECOM, AMSEL-LC-IEW-ILS-AC, Building 1201W, Fort, Monmouth, NJ 07703-5211 to the attention of Andrea Battaglia. Documentation may also be sent to electronic address andrea.battaglia1@us.army.mil To be considered as part of the market research database, documentation should be received no later than 15 September 2009.
