- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9124A09B0007. Synopsis: Recovery Repair Lift Station #9 The Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center, Directorate of Contracting, Operations Branch, Fort Huachuca, Arizona will issue a solicitation for the procurement of Repair Sewer Lift Station #9 at Fort Huachuca, AZ. This procurement, which will be completed utilizing sealed bid procedures, is described as follows: the contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment to complete Repair Sewer Lift Station #9. Provide new sewer lift staion, with a natural gas engine powered generator. Lift station shall include a new wet well, two pumps with associated piping. Connnect new wet well with existing wet well. Provide natural gas service to lift station generator. Work involves trenching, gas pipe installation, concrete work, electrical power, remove existing pump and concerete plug from wet well. Work will be performed on Fort Huachuca, AZ. This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Business Set Aside acquisition with a completion schedule of 90 calendar days after award. The total value of the project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. Award will be made to the offeror whose bid, responsive and conforming to the Invitation for Bid (IFB), is determined to be most advantageous to the Government in terms of price, past performance, and other related factors. The Government intends to award without discussions, therefore, the offerors initial proposal shall contain its best terms. Upon conclusion of evaluations, the name of the apparent successful offeror will be provided to the Small Business Administration (SBA), Phoenix office, for an eligibility determination. The Government reserves the right to contact the SBA at anytime during the evaluation process to determine the eligibility of an offeror. Upon release to the public on or about 17 August 2009, the solicitation W9124A-09-B-0007 will be available via the Internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi) of Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps, http://fedbizopps.gov/). Offerors are responsible for checking the websites for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. Proposal due date and time will be included in the solicitation.
