- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with addtional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is hereby notifying potential contractors of its intent to issue an award for Corrugated Boxes. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. The government has reserved this acquisition for small business concerns. Such interested, responsible concerns are encouraged to review and follow the attached RFQ. The associated NAICS code is 322211 and the small business size standard is $14 million with 500 employees. The award is anticipated to contain line items for a base year as well as three (3) option years, as contained in the RFQ attached. Pursuant to FAR 52.217-5, Options will be evaluated for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price. However, such evaluation will not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). All questions regarding this solicitation must be delivered to Andrew J. Baker, either by fax (972-308-1928) or by email (andrew.baker@irs.gov). Vendors are responsible for completing the attached RFQ (SF18) and delivering it to the ordering activity by the deadline for receipt of quotations. Hardcopies of completed RFQs may be, but are not requried to be, sent to the following address in lieu of delivery by facsimile or email: Internal Revenue Service Attn: Andrew J.
