- Federal Supply Code (FSC) 6810, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 325510. Chemical Fireproofing used for exterior protective fireproofing for explosive ordnance items. Must meet or exceed MIL-C-81904B, IAW Fed Std 595 No. 36375, Ghost Gray. Material shall be shipped in 55 gallon drums (4 drums per pallet, 500 pounds per drum). Material MUST include Thixotrope. Certificate of Conformance required. FOB Destination, McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK. This will be a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements contract. Minimum quantity is zero pounds with an estimated maximum quantity of 152,071 pounds. Required delivery schedule is 30 days after date of delivery order. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD will be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). You may register via the Internet at www.ccr2000.com or contact the CCR at 1-888-227-2423. Approximate issue date for solicitation is 08 September 2009 with opening date approximately 30 days from issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fbo.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to these web sites and is the contractors responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
