- Description
- The Department of the Interior, Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source purchase order to JMR Electronics Inc. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)1 and FAR part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated value of the order will be approximately $68,000. The award will be for DMS System Chassis H380 4 Bay (P/N 908685-0101) and Adaptec Adpater from 68 pin HD Male to 50 pin HD Female, with high bite termination (P/N 1816000). This requirement is being issued by AQD under the franchise authority of the Department of the Interior on behalf of the United States Air Force. AQD intends to issue a Purchase Order contract for DMS Systems Chasis with cables. This notice is not a formal solicitation. This is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of quotation or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
