- Under authority of FAR 6.302-1, ITEC4-W intends to award a noncompetitive sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Harris Corporation, RF Communications Division for three 150W Vehicular High Frequency System with Cosite Filter Kit, one AN/PRC-150 (C) CCI-High Frequency Manpack Radio, two AN/PRC-152(V)2(C) Cci-Receiver-Transmitter Radio Set Type I Multiband Handheld with GPS Receiver, and four RF-300M-HV019 Multiband Vehicular Radio System Single VHF/UHF with USIM for the US Army Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The Justification and Approval (J&A), citing the authority of FAR 6.302-1, will be posted for public inspection on or about the second week of September of 2009. There will not be a solicitation issued for this requirement and any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. Responses to this notice are due by noon, Arizona Time, Thursday, August 27, 2009.
