Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase Order by the Clinical Center Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda Maryland, 20892 using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure the service of upgrading its existing health information management platform to include a module to enable automated facsimile transmission of transcribed and/or scanned medical information. The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to 3M Company, 3M CTR BLDG-220 11W-02, Saint Paul, MN 55144 in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE IS 334290. All responses received within 15 days of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement not later than 5:00 PM, August 31, 2009 to Jearnean Jackson Contract Specialist, jjackson@cc.nih.gov.
