- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W81NLC-9118-3001. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-3, the U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract to Sheba Medical Center of Ramat Gan Israel, to conduct data analyses and other tasks that are required in order to produce manuscripts that will represent the culmination of a multi-year effort between USARIEM and the Sheba Medical Center. As this study represents Human Use Research, access to the data collected in the study is restricted by Human Use Research Regulations. Access to this data by anyone not listed in the approved protocol documents is prohibited. Award of this contract to any other vendor would require significant amendments to the approved protocol. If those amendments were then not approved, data analysis would not be possible, and years of work would be lost. Therefore, the Sheba Medical Center is the only vendor able to perform these services, and thus the only choice for award of this contract. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, via e-mail at jonathan.lehmann@us.army.mil. no later than 04 September 2009, 05:00 pm EST.
