- **This is a Modification to a previous Pre-solicitation Notice.** **Change - posting expected on or about August 19, 2009 with proposals due on or about August 27, 2009.** Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound, will be soliciting for metal shipboard habitability furniture - such as metal water closet panel assemblies, doors, shower dividers, t-Bolts for foundation assembly, etc in support of the U.S. Naval Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Facility in Yokosuka, Japan. Items will be provided in accordance with the shipboard furniture catalog. The online version is available at https://90machinery.navsses.navy.mil/habitability/. Copies of MIL/FED specifications may be obtained from the ASSIST Database on the internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website as 100% Small Business Set Aside on or about **August 18**, 2009 with proposals due on or about **August 27**, 2009. A single award, Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Delivery is expected to NOLSC for transportation to Japan; due approximately by the end of December 2009. Terms are FOB Destination with inspection and acceptance occurring at final destination. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
