- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W911KF09Q0231. Synopsis The vendor will provide both tube and tubeless pneumatic tires and tubes for items ranging from garden tractors through heavy construction equipment, to include 50,000 pound fork-lift tires. The vendor will pick up and dispose of all old pneumatic tires, foam-filled tires, tubes and inner liners in accordance with federal and state laws. Contractor must ensure all specifications are to be provided with the solicitation. Requirements include environmentally compliant methods for recycling tires before transporting items to an appropriated licensed waste disposal facility. Exact specifications and requirements will be explained in the solicitation. The solicitation will be for a base year and four (4) one-year options. This procurement is unrestricted, North American Industry Classification System Code 326211; size standard is 1000 employees. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a) (7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://www.procnet.anad.army.mil (Doing Business with Us). Estimated issue date is August 24, 2009. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the U.S. Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in rejection of your proposal.
