- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services has a requirement to construct a trail at the Modoc National Wildlife Refuge, 5364 County Road 1115, Alturas, CA (Modoc County). The contractor will clear and grub an 8 foot wide areal along the entire length of trail to remove organic material. Aggregate base material will be place along 4818 lineal feet of trail in preparation for paving. Aggregate material shall be Class 2 base per CalTrans requirements. Asphalt pavement and sealant will be layed on trail. The trail must meet specific slope requirements to be accessible for persons with disabilities. Solicitation No. 801819Q447 to include all attachments is available electronically through a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at www.fedbizopps.gov or www.nbc.gov. The solicitation response date is September 17, 2009 3:00 PM (PDT). No further notice will be posted on FedBizOpps. Interested contractors must be registered in Representations and Certifications (ORCA) www.bpn.gov. Period of performance is 60 calendar days (approximate) from the award date the contract. NOTE: This solicitation will be 100% set-aside (restricted competition) for Small Business concerns. Quotes will only be accepted by qualified contractors.
