- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. This is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. This RFQ has the following line items: Basic Period (29 Sep 2009-28 Sep 2010):CLIN 0001 CommVault Galaxy Software Maintenance; Licensed Product (#F56FB) to include the following:-1 CommServe Storage Mgr;-10 DA-IRIX (SGI);-1 DA-Linux Advanced Server;-29 DA-Linux Server;-1 DA-Linux Server Itanium;-4 DA-MAC OSX;-3 DA-SQL;-41 DA-Windows Server;-2 DDO;-2 Library Management Software;-1 SAN MediaAgent (Linux);-7 SAN MediaAgent (Windows);-2 Shared Library Mgmt Software (Robotics);-12 Shared Storage with iDDs-2 Std Disk 1TB Tier-A (1-49TB) CommCell Capacity License;-1 UDO Option Period (29 Sep 2010-28 Sep 2011):CLIN 1001 CommVault Galaxy Software Maintenance; Licensed Product (#F56FB) to include the following:-1 CommServe Storage Mgr;-10 DA-IRIX (SGI);-1 DA-Linux Advanced Server;-29 DA-Linux Server;-1 DA-Linux Server Itanium;-4 DA-MAC OSX;-3 DA-SQL;-41 DA-Windows Server;-2 DDO;-2 Library Management Software;-1 SAN MediaAgent (Linux);-7 SAN MediaAgent (Windows);-2 Shared Library Mgmt Software (Robotics);-12 Shared Storage with iDDs-2 Std Disk 1TB Tier-A (1-49TB) CommCell Capacity License;-1 UDOQuotes must price each line item listed. Software maintenance to be performed for: AFRL/RBOI, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433. Payment terms: payment in advance authorized. The following clauses and provisions apply: 52.212-04, 52.212-05, 52.222-50, 52.223-16, 52.227-19, 252.212-7001, 252.232-7003, 252.232-7010 and 5352.201-9101. The Government may award without discussions. WPAFB intends to award to CommVault, Oceanport NJ. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Justification: Services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type will satisfy agency requirements.
